Hiking along the Jälmåled

Jälmåleden - is a 35 km long hiking trail in the beautiful nature in the municipaty of Tranemo.
  • The trail has a full 13 bridges and in turn provide many Tour Options. Here you can find your own favorite places
  • and feel the history along Jälmån, you buy our map you will find easier to see all the distinctive locations.
  • There are 6 shelters with fireplaces which are suitable resting places.
  • The trail is marked with dark blue color.
  • You start the lightest in Nittorp or Dalstorp where there is free parking.
  • The trail passes a lot of pastures with animals, wet lands and rugged hilly terrain, but overall it is fairly easy hike.
  • For Dalstorp you can take the bus from Ulricehamn and Tranemo, to Nittorp by bus from Tranemo and Dalstorp
